Programs

  Jenny Lind Elementary provide a number of programs at our school. 
  • Band-Students in 5th and 6th grade have the opportunity to participate in band under the instruction of Mr. Wise.
  • Music-Mr. Roberson provides music through Monday Morning Sing and classroom lessons.  This is funded through JLE Prospectors.
  • Chorus-Mr. Roberson provides chorus after school to JLE students.  This is funded through JLE Prospectors.
  • Art-Mrs. Marchand provides art lessons to JLE students in their classrooms.  This is funded through JLE prospectors.
  • Garden-Students have the opportunity to work in our school garden and learn more about compositing and recycling.
  • Circle of Friends-5th and 6th grade students have the opportunity to participate in Circle of Friends.  Circle of Friends is a social inclusion program for students with disabilities of all ages that establishes and understanding and acceptance of differences on school campuses and in community life, decreasing bullying and erasing the lines between disabled and non-disabled.
  • Fine Arts Day-Each May JLE students participate in Fine Arts Day.  This is a fun and exciting day in which students are able to express their creativity.  Many members of the Calaveras County community volunteer in order for the even to be a success.
